Yesterday, Natalie had her eye appointment. She ended up falling asleep in the waiting room and so the Doctor was able to check her eyes while she was sleeping. Natalie must have been tired because she didn't wake up until the end when they needed her to be awake. The Doctor said that is she definitely far-sighted and her eyes looked perfect! We were so happy to hear that! Then after her eye appointment, we headed to her check-up with her pediatrician. Natalie has finally made it in the 50% percentile she is now weighing at 17lbs 10ozs and 26 inches long! I can't believe it! She has grown so much this past month. Her pediatrician has been concerned about her head measurements. Yesterday, her head measured at 18 1/2 inches. Last month, it was 17 1/2 inches. So we got a referral to get a Catscan. This morning, we drove back to the hospital to get a Catscan done. They wanted me to wake Natalie up at 4 am and keep her awake until 7:30 am! They also didn't want me to feed her until we got there so that she would fall asleep during the catscan. Are they crazy? Anyways, she actually stayed awake for a long time, she fell asleep in the van on the way there but woke up easily. She wasn't even fussy about being hungry too! Well the lady who did the catscan of her head, wrapped Natalie all up, used some velcro to keep her secured and had me feed her a bottle. Natalie didn't fall asleep and did really well. Now, I am just waiting to hear back from the doctor about the results. By the time, we got back home, Natalie was sound asleep! What a tired little lady she was.
