Pneumonia....

Friday morning Natalie woke up with a cough and she was wheezing. I called the doctor, after talking with several nurses, I was able to get her in to see her pediatrician. We were at the doctor's office for 3 hours, after 3 breathing treatments with O2, albuterol, meds and a chest x-ray, she has pneumonia. Luckily, I brought her into the doctor in time, she only had it in her right lung. It was so hard to see her struggling when she would cough. At times, she would cough so much that she would throw up. Her doctor told me that she would need to take one med for 5 days and the other for 10. She would also need to stay inside for about a week. On our way home, we stopped at the pharmacy for her prescriptions, I am so Thankful for drive-through pharmacies! It makes it so much easier! Thank you Walmart! We arrived home a little before 6pm. Natalie was so tired. I gave her a bath, meds, and albuterol treatment, she was fast asleep before 7pm! I felt so bad for her. I just wanted to hold her close and snuggle with her all night. But she was much more comfortable in her own bed. Every couple of hours, I would go into her room to check up on her. She was sound asleep. We've been staying home these last few days, she is getting much better. She still has a bad cough but overall acts like she is not sick. She has been sleeping alot these last few days. I am so Thankful for such good doctors that can give me good advice that will help our little Natalie. I am also very Thankful that she is feeling a little better. Thanks for those wonderful prayers that have been said for our little lady. We really do appreciate it!

You are amazing. You just take these things so well and take care of her so well. Good job!

I saw the link to your blog on your facebook. Natalie is so cute! I still haven't seen her in person, but she has grown so much since those first teeny tiny baby pictures. Wow. She's definitely a fighter. I also love that she doesn't have much hair, like my kiddos. :)
