Eva's doctor appointment

Eva had her check up at the Children's Spot today with a doctor from the NICU. She weighs 14 lbs 3 ozs, she is 23 inches long. Her head is 15 1/2 cm. She is now on the charts!! 50% with her weigh, 40% with her height. WAY TO GO MISS JELLYBEAN! One of the occupational therapists from the NICU came and watched me feed Eva. She wanted to see if she was ready to wean off of thickener. Eva did great! We went from using a # 3 nipple to using #1 and #2. The therapist and Dr. are going to let us try to keep her off thickener. During her feeding, she paced herself, stopped sucking when she was needing a break. Dr Claflin is also going to let us give Eva one 4oz bottle of breast milk daily to see how she does!! I am so excited to finally let her have the milk that I have pumped for her.
