Date with Natalie............

One of Natalie's therapists, invited us to go to the movies with her and of the other families that she works with. This was Natalie's first experience watching a movie in a theater. We watched the new Disney movie, "Tangled." Natalie did great for the first hour or so. She was so excited! She loved it when they sang, she would wiggle in her seat. After about an hour she started talking and wanted to get down and stand, which was I thought was fine. She started moving the arm rest up and down, nudging the lady that was sitting in front of us. I leaned over to tell Natalie to stop moving the arm rest and come and sit next to me. She proceeds to do it again, her therapist tells her to stop. Natalie immediately starts to cry....not only cry but scream! I ended up taking her out, we stood where we could still see the movie. Eventually we go and sit down again. Within minutes, Natalie is crying again. So I take her out, we take a walk. She started rubbing her eyes, so I go back and get my bag. Then we go out to the van. We started to leave. Her therapist calls, she talks me into coming back, the movie was almost over. So we go back, Natalie did wonderful when we went back. She sat on my lap for the remaining of the movie. She even clapped and cheered when it was over. "Tangled" was such a great movie. I can't wait to watch it again, and see the parts that I missed. It has been such a long time since I watched a Princess movie, I think that is movie was really good. I highly recommend it!
