I Sick.....

This past Monday night, I heard Natalie coughing during her sleep. I go in and check on her. I check her oxygen saturation levels which was 91 on a 1/2 liter of o2. So I do an albuterol treatment. Then I check her saturation level again and it was still in the low 90's. I turned up her oxygen, I kept checking. After getting to 2 liters her saturation level was still the same. I knew that I needed to get her to the ER. So I had Erich stay with her in her room while I packed a bad and got things ready. I arrived at the hospital around 12:30am. We were immediately sent back to an ER room. I laid her on the bed, she looked up at the nurse and said, "I sick." with a sweet little smile. Natalie needed 3 liters of oxygen, and she had to get an hour long albuterol treatment. Around 4 am, we were in a room! So tired and seriously exhausted by this point. Natalie was even falling asleep during the nurses evaluation. This was one of the shortest hospital stays that we've ever had. We were discharged on Wednesday afternoon. She came home on 1/2 liter of oxygen. She is doing good, and still has a nasty cough. So glad to be home with my girls and hubby.
