Hunt Orchard Pumpkin Patch Fun!!

This past Saturday we went to Hunt Orchard in St. Joseph, Missouri. Knowing that Natalie and Eva both still had coughs. We knew that we were taking a risk by taking them. But this was the first time in YEARS that we will all be together. What a blast we all had! All of my hubby's sisters, cousins, Aunts, and Uncle and kids were able to come. We even had Angelita, Emma and Jacob come along too. They are half-siblings to Erich and his sisters. One sister had never even gotten to meet them before. What a sweet blessing it was to see their faces light up when they hugged!! I love these moments.

Natalie got to ride a pony for the first time. She surprised us and stayed on for the entire ride. She kept saying, "I touch pony," "I so happy" , "I like Jill". so to see her face light up while walking next to her on the pony ride. She always enjoyed the hay maze....she kept getting lost. Thankfully, there were several cousins who helped us find her. Boy, was she FAST!!

Eva had a rough time, all she wanted to do was walk around but there were so many people. We couldn't just let her walk alone. There were lots of tears! She did enjoy the train ride with Mommy and Big Sis.

Once we got back to the van, the girls had a snack and a drink. They were so happy!

We drove over to our Uncle and Aunt's house with everyone. Had pizza for dinner. The girls played for hours. Eva is now an official stair climber, she went up and down several times. I bathed the girls just before we left. We stayed there as long as we could. Natalie's oxygen levels dipped to 94 so we knew we needed to get home. We brought O2 tanks with us but they don't last very long. We left a 8pm. We didn't get far and both girls were a sleep. The drive home was nice and quiet. Erich and I talked about how much fun we had. We were sad to leave but know that it was the best decision for Natalie.
