Opening prayer in Primary

Last Sunday, Natalie was asked to give the opening prayer in Primary. We had talked about it several times during the week. She was so excited about it. She kept asking me if I were going to go up with her. Last Sunday, she was willing to go up to the podium with me. As she started to say the prayer, she heard herself in the microphone. She got scared and freaked out. She immediately cried and held onto me as tight as she could. I went ahead and said the prayer for her. She came and sat with me and my class for a little while until it was time for her to go with the Sunbeams. At home, she will say the prayer all by herself, I know that it will take time for her to say a prayer at church. I was proud of her for trying.
