I found this to be very powerful. All I can say is...."Love one Another". It doesn't matter what race, orientation, religion, or who you choose to be with. All I need to do is LOVE them. That is all Heavenly Father wants us to do. Not to judge but to love one another. Each one of us is a son or daughter of Heavenly Father. He loves each one of us so much.
With everything going on. As I read through my news feed on Facebook. It was filled with so much hatred from both sides. Just because someone doesn't have the same views as someone else. It was hard to read through several of the posts. Immediately, I thought, WOW, sadness. Then I thought about how we all have the freedom of speech. I have friends who are gay. Good for them. Do I judge them? No. It is not my place to judge. I have several friends who support gay marriage. Good for them. Do I have to support gay marriage, just because several of my friends do. It makes me sad to read, that because I don't support proposition 8 that I hate the people that do support it. I love all people. It doesn't matter who they are, what they do, or who they choose to be with.
I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I know who I am. I am a Daughter of God. I have been taught to treat others with love and respect. Just like I would want others to treat me. I love learning about the gospel. I love the power of prayer. I believe in miracles. I love my family and friends. I am grateful for the lessons that I have learned throughout my life. I am grateful for the friendships that I do have. I am grateful that I am sealed to my best friend Erich for time and all eternity in the Temple. I stand all amazed at my blessings. I feel so blessed to be a wife and a mother my beautiful daughters who teach me everyday. I know that the Savior lives, I know that he loves me. I know that President Thomas S. Monson is our prophet who leads and guides our church. I am grateful that I was taught right from wrong. I love my life. There are things that I wish I could go back and change, but I can't. I do know, I can do better today. I can try harder to be that person Heavenly Father wants me to be.

awww...thanks ruth. it really means alot. :)sending you some love back.
Rick Warren's quote is so profound. The old saying "divide and conquer" keeps coming to mind here because the best way to keep good people ineffective is to have them turn on each other. Look past the religious and political differences and you may just find someone who ultimately wants what you want--for kindness and honor and goodness to prevail.
