new calling....

2 weeks ago, I received a call that I needed to meet with the bishopric Sunday morning before church. Early June, I received a calling as the Mia Maid Advisor in the young womens. Recently, the young woman president Sandy and her husband announced that they were moving out of their beautiful home. So I didn't really think that I was getting a new calling. But sure enough, I was. I was called to be a 1st counselor in the young women's program at church. I was pretty surprised. The president is my friend Becky who was the 1st counselor. Anyways....so very excited about my new calling. We have so many wonderful young women in our ward. I feel in awe and at times, feel inadequate. But I know that with the Lord's help, I will feel comforted and will be able to serve the best that I can. :)
