As I reminisce about Mother's Day. What a nice day we had, we went and spent some time with my family. I am so grateful for my mom, she has taught me many lessons about life. She has never stopped loving me. Thank you mom for always being there when I have needed you the most. Then we headed off to Erich's parents house. What a fun time we had playing with Anne, Hailey, Joseph and Andrea in the backyard. We had a blast playing with them. We laughed, talked and ate way too much yummy food but is was worth it! Erich's mom is so sweet. She loves me unconditionally. She has always treated me just like her own daughter. She taught Erich many valuable lessons which helped him be who he is today. Thank you. We love you both so very much! We hope that you had a wonderful Mother's day.
As I thought about my first Mother's Day. We are so blessed to have such loving, and understanding family and friends in our lives. I know that even though Leanne is not here with us today. I am still a mother. I just kept thinking about her and wondering if she were up there smiling down at me. I miss her tremendously but I know that she is our little Angel who is watching over us. I am grateful for Erich, for his example of love that he has shown to me. I love him so much. We both know that we are truly blessed. I can't wait to celebrate the many more Mother's day's with him and our family.
