Natalie Update!

By the time everyone reads this post, our baby Natalie will be going into surgery for her heart. She has an open artery in her heart that if left open could create major complications over the next few days and weeks. The doctors have conferred with us and we have decided to do a ligation. This ligation will rid her of the PDA (Ductus Arterius) and allow her good blood flow to and from the lungs so she can breath on her own in the future. Please have her in your prayers! It is a fast surgery and will be completed within 10 minutes of the initial incision. She will be under anesthesia for approximately 3 hours and we'll be on watch until she wakes up. The doctors assure us that with Morphine and other pain treatment, that she will have little if any pain, and no memory of it. We love all that you have done for us, and hope to bring our miracle home soon!

Love You All, The Mohlers
