9 months already!

Yes, that is right! Natalie turned 9 months old on Monday July 17, 2009. Can you believe it! My little lady is sure growing up! Natalie had her 9 month old check up she weighs 19 lbs, 26 1/4 inches long! For her weight she is in the 50 percentile and for her height she is in the 25 percentile. Way to go Miss Natalie! Before her checkup appointment, I was able to get some really cute pictures of her in her bed with her bear and stuff animals. Monday afternoon, Natalie's therapist Cindy came to work with her. Today Natalie worked for 40 minutes and then she fell asleep. She must have been tired! Monday during therapy, she was sitting up and she started to fall over, she was able to pull herself back up! YAY! She even leaned over and picked up a toy and put it up to her mouth without falling over. I am so grateful for the First Steps program. Natalie has been getting therapy for over a month now, Erich and I have seen the improvements that she has made. I always took for granted that any child could pick up a toy, or sit up on their own, or even grasp a toy. But I have learned that these are not just things that any baby can do. They are learned and at times these skills need to be taught to them. I am really grateful for Natalie's 3 therapists who come into our home and work with her once a week for an hour. Thank you so much!
