New changes in our home......................

This past month has been really tough on us. With extra doctor bills, school loans and along with our current household bills. We have been able to pay off all of our credit card debt in 2009. In February, we decided that we would cut the cost of cable, internet and home phone line-which was a lot! We didn't realize how much we have been spending over the past few years on these things until we added it all up. It was A LOT! It made me sick to my stomach thinking that we've paid over $4000 in the last 2 years on ENTERTAINMENT!! Its no wonder why we don't own our own house! So we were able to cancel our Comcast package. We went with AT&T internet, they had a much better deal. We currently don't have a home phone line, or cable. We realize that those things aren't necessary and they can be expensive. We did join Nexflix and we love renting movies from Redbox. On the nights Erich is off work, we've been able to sit and watch a movie together, or he will put a airplane model together while I am scrapbooking. We sit and talk about anything and everything! I've loved these moments! I can't believe how much journaling and scrapbooking I have gotten done in the last few weeks. I don't even miss watching HGTV or TLC channels. I love being able to get to know my hubby a little more, I love being able to really spend time with Ladybug or actually watch her grow and learn new things. It's been so nice to read a book or read our scriptures together as a family. I will truly treasure these moments!
