Happy 3rd Birthday to our sweet little Angel!

3 years ago today, Erich and I went through a life changing event. Losing a child is something we never thought that we would have to go through. I remember holding her in my arms, wow! What an amazing that moment was. I cannot begin to tell you how I felt on this day 3 years ago. I do remember everything that happened, I remember the nurses saying that there was no heartbeat, I remember them telling me that I was already dilated at a 10, I remember them breaking my water, and pushing until she came out. I remember the painful contractions that I had just before she arrived. I remember thinking, we were not ready to bring home a baby, her room wasn't ready, clothese were not washed, so many thoughts rushed through my head early that morning. Throughout all the events that happened that morning, It didn't occur to me, that she was stillborn until they put her in my arms. I was crushed, heartbroken beyond belief. At that moment, I sobbed and sobbed. I remember Erich wrapped his arms around me and Leanne and we all just sobbed together. As I look about to this life changing event, I know that Heavenly Father has a plan for our little Leanne. She is up there spreading the gospel with others, she sure does a great job with reminding us to be better with all that we have been blessed with. I am so grateful for the small moments that I can feel of her spirit and know that she is watching over us. I love that feeling. Tonight, we drove over to the cemetery to say a little prayer with our Leanne. I love these sweet tender moments that we can and will cherish as a family. Happy Birthday Leanne! We sure miss and love you dearly.
