Merry Christmas!

Can you believe it.....my girls slept in till 8 am again!! I can definitely get used to this. Eva did wake up at 4:30 am, for a feeding and of course to cuddle! But she did go back to sleep. After we all woke up, we went into the living room with the girls, Natalie sees her new kitchen and immediately lights up, she was the happiest little 2 year that I have ever seen. As we started opening presents, she continues to play. So Erich and I open a few of our gifts, he got me pj's, blanket for the couch, pumpkin spice candle, a heart necklace and a book the biography of Thomas S. Monson. I love reading biographies. I got him dress pants for church, white dress shirt, a new razor, a video game that he really really wanted, and a drill bit set that he loved! Natalie would open a present and then she would go back to playing with her kitchen, then she would open another present and then go and play. So cute! Eva loved the paper more than the gift. She got several baby toys, teethers, little toys that she could hold in her hands, and learning zoo toy that she loves. Both girls got several outfits and sleepers. We each got our favorite box of cereal too! (Santa always did that for my siblings and I growing up). So he does it for our family too! What fun we had opening gifts with the girls After presents, I made homemade doughnuts with bisquits,Erich and I ate all 10 of them. They were delicious! We both enjoyed watching Natalie play with her dishes and kitchen. She loved the cell phone and the microwave the best. The girls were so tired that they were both down for naps before 11 am.

For Lunch, I cooked meatloaf, baked potatoes, corn and green beans. We invited Ellen and Mandy over to eat with us. What fun! After lunch, we watched a movie, Defiance.

Natalie started getting a cough yesterday, it's not that bad but we didn't want to take her out. I took Eva and went to visit my Grandma Sally. My cousin Cara and her boyfriend met me there too. It was so nice to see them and to spend some time with Grandma Sally.

I am so blessed to have had a wonderful Christmas with our girls. This is the first year that we were able to be at home with our girls. I am also grateful that Erich was home and he didn't have to work! YAY! I love it when he doesn't have to work on a holiday. Especially Christmas. I am so grateful that we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ on this special day. I am happy that we were both raised in home, where it isn't all about the presents or the goodies. It's about Jesus Christ. I love that! May you feel of the Savior's love this Holiday season! Merry Christmas!
