We had LOADS and LOADS of fun! Hubby left Sunday afternoon to head to Tan-Tar-A (Osage Beach) Missouri for a Police officer conference. We were so sad to see him leave. This was the first time we have ever been apart for more than just a day. The girls and I managed and still had loads of fun together.
- Sunday we went to church.
- Monday we spent some time with Poppy and Grammy Orton, Aunt Trina and Uncle Marcus. Grandparents were getting ready to leave to go to Iowa for a little trip and Trina and Marcus were heading off to Camp MoJa. We came home and played.
- Tuesday Elsie a sweet little 9 month that I babysit came over for a few hours. Throughout all the tears, we survived Wednesday. That night we had a play date with some friends! We went out for Pizza and played at the indoor Musical McDonald's play land. The girls were so tired by the time we arrived home.
- Wednesday we stayed home throughout the morning. After naps, we went to visit the school where I was a teacher. Natalie had a BLAST meeting new people and of course enjoyed the attention she got! I made dinner for the girls, made another dinner for a family who just had their 7th baby, and made some chocolate chip cookies too all while the girls entertained themselves with measuring cups, books and the ladybug tent. What a wonderful day!
- Thursday morning we headed to the school where I worked for several years as a para. We ended up staying a few hours. Natalie really enjoyed playing the the early childhood classroom. She loved the hammock swing too! It was so much fun to visit with some of my dear friends who helped shape me as a teacher. Of all the students that I worked with while I was there....have all moved on to Junior High or High School. There was only 1 student left that I had worked with when he was 3. He is now a fifth grader, and he even remembered my name!! Totally melted my heart and made my day! We came home girls napped. Daddy came home from his conference! Boy, were the girls so happy to see him! :) I, too was so happy to see him. Gotta love these sweet moments.
