Loves being home-June 28, 2010
We BROUGHT Eva home from the NICU!!! I can't believe it has been a year already. We brought her home after being in the NICU for 78 days. She was born at 27 weeks 1 day. Weighing only 2 lbs 7 ozs. She weighed 7 lbs 10 ozs when we brought her home. Now she is 25 lbs!! She definitely making up for her being a preemie! Our sweet little Jellybean is just a joy. I love her sweet little smile. I love her giggle, I love her loud squeals of delight. She has overcome so many obstacles in just her short little life; having NEC twice while in the NICU, wasn't able to have breast milk for several months, went through muscle eye surgery. She sure doesn't let anything get in her way. She taught herself to sit up, crawl and stand. She even took a few steps tonight all on her own. She loves holding a hand to walk! I love that she lights up when Daddy or I walk into the room. She sure loves to wrestle her big sister. She is squeals of delight when she pulls hair too! Not so fun for the people getting their hair pulled. She loves when I read books to her. She loves pushing a beach ball around the room. Her first words have been, momma, dada, ball. Love our sweet little Miracle. What a blessing she has been to our family. We sure do love you Eva Janelle!
