This past week Erich has been working at the Youth Outreach Unit Boot Camp for Junior High and High School students. Working 10 hour days in the heat sure wore him out. They run it just like a military boot camp. Erich learned a lot and was a great influence to many students. I am very proud of him for being asked to do this assignment through the Police Department. Last night, we went to the Graduation assembly that they had for all the kids. What a life changing experience it was for so many kids. I was really impressed with all the hard work the officers and sergeants put into making this boot camp possible. At the end they made a slide show of each day. WOW!! It was really neat to see all that they had to do. As the students graduated, they walked past the seats where I was sitting with my girls. It was such a good feeling to look at them as they walked by. Many of them, you could just tell that they were so proud of their accomplishment. I really enjoyed being able to attend something that my hubby was involved in. I really got to see him doing what he truly loves.
