A Heartbreaking Moment....

My mother in law is in town for a few days. So we had Erich's sister and girls come over for dinner. Natalie loves when her cousins come and play. They are all much older than she is but she doesn't mind. She was so happy to see them. She wanted Hailey to come and play Barbies with her in her room. They played for a few minutes and Hailey came back into the living room. Natalie cried and cried. She was so heartbroken. I tried everything I could to get her to calm down. I held her close and told her that I Hailey wanted to be in the living room with her family. She didn't want be in her room. Natalie didn't understand why Hailey didn't want to play. She told me "out mommy" and proceed to push me out of her room. Heartbroken. Seriously. I wanted to cry too. This was by far the longest tantrum we've had. WOWEE! I hope we don't have another one anytime soon. Not fun! Within minutes, Natalie came and got Anne and they played together. Anne taught Natalie how to play hide and seek. Throughout all the tears, Natalie had fun with her cousins. After her bath, she cried because she didn't want me to do her treatment. She said she wanted to sit on Mandy's lap. So Cousin Mandy held her during her treatments and read books to her. 8 o'clock came and I tucked Natalie into bed. Sweet Dreams Ladybug.
