What a wonderful week............

This past week was so BUSY, so tired by the time the girls went to bed, so did I. So here is our updates of our fun week!

Saturday November 19th- Natalie had her first "friend" Birthday party. 8 of her friends came over to celebrate. She loved every minute of it! We served snacks, strawberry cupcakes with strawberry frosting. The girls all had a fun time playing together. She loved all of her presents that she received. We really appreciate everyone coming over to celebrate with her!

Monday November 21st- We actually overslept! We never do that, especially with 2 little girls who are early risers. Natalie had came into our bed early that morning, Daddy got up and left for work at 6:30. We slept in until 7:30 am. We ran around getting ready really FAST! She ate a very quick breakfast, got dressed, I helped her do her treatments. She was ready just in time! She sure loved getting on the bus! I still can't believe that our little lady is going to preschool already. Elsie and Eva played together all morning while Natalie was at school. I was able to get a lot of cleaning done. The 3 hours sure goes by so fast!

Wednesday November 23rd- That morning, I traced the girls hands and we made turkey's. I printed off several pictures of things for them to choose what they are Thankful for. Of course, Natalie immediately picked Sid the Science Kid and Dora. Eva picked Sesame Street and food. I love that they each picked Jesus Christ and the Scriptures. Elsie made one too. She picked all the sentimental things, family, hugs and friends. The girls and I were anxious that afternoon, so we put the Christmas tree up. What fun both girls had helping mommy take everything out of the totes. As I was taking Christmas decorations out of the box, Natalie would say, "I so excited for Chrisman!" Natalie loved unwrapping the ornaments, and Eva sure loved the lights! By the time, Daddy got home from work. We had it all done! What a surprise it was for him to see the house all decorated with Christmas! Throughout the evening, Natalie would put her stocking and Eva's stocking on her feet and walk around wearing them. Silly girl!

THANKSGIVING DAY!! Thursday November 24- What a wonderful day we had with my family. That morning the girls and I drove and picked up my Grandma Sally. (The girl's Great-Grandma) Natalie was so happy to see her. She even gave her hugs when she first seen her. So cute! Eva was a little reserved at first. Once we got back to our house. Natalie and Eva kept giving Grandma Sally a cup from the tea set or a pretend cupcake. What fun it was to see the girls interacting with her. When my parents, sister Trina, and brother Marcus arrived. The girls were excited to see them! After a YUMMMMICIOUS lunch of the traditional turkey, ham with all the works. We were all STUFFED little turkeys! We were finally able to get a four generation picture!! :)
We sure loved having family over for the day. What a wonderful Thanksgiving.

Friday November 25-BLACK FRIDAY SHOPPING! We hired a wonderful sitter to come over and watch the girls so that we could get some Christmas shopping done. Skyler came over at 6am. Both girls were still sleeping so we hurried and left. We went to Kohl's, Walmart, Toys-R-Us, Old Time Pottery, Kmart, and Sears. We really got some great deals! We were home by 10:15am! The girls greeted us with smiles and hugs!
That evening Ellen (Erich's sister) and daughter Mandy came over for another Thanksgiving dinner. I cooked another turkey and it was delicious and so moist! We watched the movie Elf. I tucked the girls into bed and finished cleaning up from dinner. Off to bed I went!

Saturday November 26- I took the girls to Brass Pro to get their pictures taken with Santa. We didn't have wait in line. So nice! Both girls sat on his lap. Natalie told him that she wanted a stocking. Eva looked a little worried but she didn't cry. We came home and the girls and I ate popcorn, and chocolate covered pretzels while we watched a Christmas movie. We painted wooden Christmas ornaments too! The rest of the afternoon, they napped and played together.

I am so Thankful the sweet moments that we have together as a family. What a wonderful and busy week we had together. I love these moments!
