Sleep Study...
Sunday night, Natalie had her sleep study at Children's Mercy South. We usually go to the CMH downtown. But the sleep studies are only done at the south location. What a fancy and nice place. Her nurse was really nice. It took a little over an hour and a half to get all of her wires hooked up. The sleep study measures her carbon dioxide intake/outake, dreams, breathing patterns, tells whether or not she grinds her teeth, abnormal breathing, sleep disorders. She did such a good job while her nurse was placing all the cords. She kept saying that she was tired. Once she was in bed, she fell asleep pretty quick! Monday morning, they woke her up at 6 am. She sat up and said, "I had a good nap, mommy!" Her nurse unhooked all her cords, Natalie was such a good trooper. Afterwards, she got to pick a present, she picked a new, My little Pony. She was absolutely in love with her new pony! As we headed home, she was quite happy to be going home. Now the waiting game begins....the results will take about 4 weeks. I am kind of anxious/nervous for the results.
