Christmas memories...

I love sending out Christmas cards, letters, and pictures of our family. This year, since most of my family and friends have a facebook or a blog. I sent a letter to just a few people with pictures. Everyone else got a card with pictures or a picture card. Here is our Christmas letter for 2012

Natalie turned 4 in November. She is very smart, fun, sweet, and loves learning new things. She loves attending preschool and love when we read books to her. She wants to be a doctor when she grows up. Eva is 2.5 years old. She is very smart, she catches on and wants to do everything big sister does. She is definitely a daddy's girl. She is his little wrestling buddy. She has those adorable brown curls with a sweet smile that is sure to capture anyone's heart. She says she wants to be a Police officer just like daddy when she grows up.
2012 has brought us such sweet memories. Happy New Year!

Christmas Eve December 23, 2012

We spent the day with the girls playing games, reading books and doing several kid puzzles. What a great day. I made homemade cinnamon rolls.... they were so yummmmmy! Aunt Ellen, and Grandma Cyr came over for a meatloaf dinner. Papa Al was really sick with a horrible cough. We missed having him over for our Christmas dinner. We let the girls open their gifts from Papa Al and Grandma Cyr and Aunt Ellen. Papa and Grandma made them each a coat rack and above each one is the letter of their name they are really cute! We decided to hang them in the hall way, low enough for them to get their own sweaters, or coats. Aunt Ellen and their cousins (they were with their dad) gave them several small gifts, a ball, new wash cloths, and each received a puzzle. They also received new Christmas jammies too!

Since Ellen lives farther away now, she stayed the night with us. What fun! She really enjoyed watching the girls open their presents Christmas morning. Santa brought the girls each a tool box, they loved! They both received several magnetic books, puzzles, Natalie got a My life doll (off brand of the American girl doll) with a wheel chair and crutches,Chutes, Ladders game,  and A Nurse Barbie. Eva got a baby alive doll, Lucky ducks game. Each girl got a new outfit, socks, underwear, Eva received Elmo, The count, Ernie and Bert figurines (her favorite gift).

Later, that afternoon, Papa O, Grandma So, Aunt Trina, Uncle Marcus came over. What a great time we had. The girls were so excited! We opened more presents from them and they opened the ones from us. They received a Doc McStuffins puzzle set, Elmo and Dora puzzle, and books. We all loved everything! For dinner we had leftover meatloaf and steaks...they were delish! mashed potatoes, corn, green beans and rolls! :) We pretty much had every dessert possible! Everything was so yummmy!

What a wonderful day we had spending time as a family. It was so nice to have everyone over for the Holiday.

Merry Christmas!
