Coughing again.....

Saturday January 19, 2013
2 weeks ago Natalie 's cough finally went away after 3 months. This morning, she was up at 4:30 am coughing. Gave her a treatment and we fell back to sleep on the couch. She just woke up from her nap saying she does not feel good and coughing like crazy. Oxygen saturation is 96%. Poor girl!

High fever  from Natalie this morning. She was so worried about the mess...I told her that it was okay. I will clean it all up. Then Eva comes over pats Natalie on her arm and says, Nannie sick, and gives her a hug. Awwww. Looks like a day of rest and watching netflix. :)

Natalie woke up with a fever, gave her some medicine to help with the fever, from about 8:30 am she seemed fine, she was up playing with her sister, reading books, doing puzzles and coloring. They both took 3.5 hour naps. After naps, Natalie was in a fun mood, and really happy.

She was up at 4 with a high fever again, both girls joined us in our bed this morning. It was so sweet to snuggle with them both. Natalie's oxygen was 90!! So I put her on 2 liters of oxygen. It seemed to help her. She had a high fever all morning, I gave her medicine to help with the fever. I put both girls down for naps. I called hubby and we talked. I called the nurses line and spoke to them about Natalie's shunt and wondering if she could have a shunt infection. But since she also has a horrible cough it wasn't likely that she did. So I called her doctor's office and was able to get her in. Hubby was able to get home from work a little earlier so that I could take her in. Well she has a pneunomia in her right lung. He said that if I would have brought her in Monday, it would probably wouldn't have been noticeable. Just very glad that I took her in today. She is going to get better. I appreciate all the prayers that have been said for our sweet little lady. Thank you so much!
