Yesterday while I was at the hospital visiting Natalie. While I was holding her two of my friends stopped by to meet her. They thought that she was so cute! Then Grandpa & Grandma Orton, Uncle Marcus, Aunt Trina came to see her Just before they left Trina put her finger in Natalie's hand she held onto it. Trina got really excited. When we talk to her, sometimes she smiles, it is the cutest thing to see her smile. Lately, she has just been sleeping during the day, today after holding her she had her eyes open. (The nurses tell us that she usually has her eyes open really late at night!) Today she kept them open for a long time. My parents haven't see her with her eyes open so they were really happy! After Erich came home from work, we went back down to the hospital with Grandpa & Grandma Cyr. While they were visiting, Natalie opened her eyes again and Grandma Cyr and Erich were talking to her, she just smiled at them. It was so cute to watch. What a busy day Natalie had! She had a great night with her levels. She is currently at 39% oxygen and getting 29mls of milk every 3 hours. She is 15 inches long now and weighs 3lbs 5ozs! Way to go!

awww, how sweet! I love that last picture of her with her eyes open and it looks like she's about to have a big smile! She is so cute! She's a lucky girl to have so many loved ones come to see her, I bet she loved it!
What a beautiful niece. I can't imagine the world without her now...she's such a fighter! We needed a miracle like her in our family. You're both such amazing parents already! Keep up the great work!
