Mommy knows BEST......

2 weeks ago, Ladybug had her follow-up with a pulmonary doctor at Children's Mercy. Her doctor wanted to do a 2 week trial with Ladybug to see if she could do without sleeping with oxygen. I mentioned to her that each time after Ladybug was discharged from the hospital since December, within 2 weeks, she was sick with respiratory problems and had to have another hospital stay. So here are are again....2 weeks since she was weaned from sleeping with oxygen she is sick! Today we spent 2 hours at the pediatrician's office, Thankfully, we don't have to go to the hospital. She is handling being sick really well. Cherub (the place where we get all the oxygen equipment from.) was going to come today and pick up all the equipment. Thank Goodness, I called them to let them know that Ladybug still needs oxygen. Throughout the day, I have given her albuterol and pulimcourt treatments. She has been on oxygen all day too. She is still pretty sick with a nasty cough and a runny nose. After her long 2 hour nap this afternoon, she was quite playful and smiley! I really hope that the oxygen equipment stays here for a little longer. I really don't need a hospital stay anytime soon.
