Birthday Fun!

Friday January 14th was my birthday. I spent the day with my girls! What fun we had playing, watching several shows on Netflix. My parents, sister and brother came over late that afternoon to watch the girls so that Erich and I could go to the chiropractor at 5 and go out for my birthday. We were going to go to Texas Roadhouse for dinner, but by the time we got there, the wait was an hour. So we decided to go someplace else. As we were heading to Buffalo Wild Wings, we passed the Independence Events Center. We went to see if there was a Mavericks Ice Hockey game. Sure enough there was! So we decided to just eat there. The food was pretty good too. I have never been to a hockey game before. What fun we had! I was surprised at how fast paced the game was. Afterwards, we came home and ate Chocolate Silk pie and Chocolate chip ice cream with my family. For my birthday, I got to go shopping, I got a pair of jeans, and several new shirts. I hardly ever buy clothes for myself, so this was nice a treat to go shopping for me. Thanks to my wonderful hubby.
