5 years and Counting!

Can you believe that Erich and I have been married for 5 already. What a ride, we have been on. Let me tell ya, it has been one amazing trip. We've laughed, cried, and enjoyed every miracle that we've been blessed with. He is one heck of a husband, and father. I love that he makes me feel special and loved. He is constantly letting me know just how grateful he is to have me in his life, he lets me know that I am a wonderful mommy to 2 sweet little girls. I love that. There are days, (several days a week) where I stay in my pj's. I know...I am lazy! He will come home for lunch and tell me how beautiful I am even when I may not feel that way. I love all the sweet memories that we've made together. I am grateful that we have each other. There isn't anyone else that I would want to have gone through what we have already...he has been so supportive. I always in visioned myself working as a teacher and being a mommy. After losing Leanne, I went back to work 2.5 weeks later. Then after Natalie's birth, it was hard to return to work but I knew that I needed to finish out the school year. But there was no question in my mind that I wanted to return to teaching that fall. Being a stay at home mommy has truly been a blessing. I am grateful that Erich has been so supportive of me staying at home with the girls. I can't wait to see what our future holds. These past 5 years have been a lot of fun, we have grown so close together as a couple, and as parents of our little girls.

We had plans to go to dinner and a stake couples dance at church. Natalie woke up with a cough. Eva still has the cough and runny nose that she's had for a few weeks. By late afternoon, Natalie and Eva were both fussy and irritable. The sitter that we had lined up has never watched our girls before, we felt that it was best to stay home instead of going out. Although, we still got take out from Texas Roadhouse. yummmmmmy! We watched a movie "The Grownups". Which was pretty funny. There were a few scenes that didn't need to be in the movie. Grrrrr.

Happy Anniversary to us!!
