I love that the girls are growing up and learning new things.....but could it all go a little slower. Pretty please. This past week, Natalie has slept in her big girl twin bed every night and for nap time too. Without any trouble. A few nights, she wanted me to snuggle with her, of course I do! How could I tell her, no. She sure makes going to bed a lot easier because she doesn't cry or whine about going to sleep.
Then tonight, we finally moved the mattress up for Eva. After bath, scriptures and prayer. I laid Eva in her baby bed with her bottle. She was asleep in no time. I snuggled with Natalie until she fell asleep. I love these sweet moments but they sure do bring tears to my eyes.
Over the past few days, Natalie has been saying my name, "Becky". So sweet. She doesn't really understand that its my name. She insists that my name is Mommy. Which of course, it is. But I actually love hearing her say, Becky.
Eva has been crawling everywhere. She always seems to get stuck under a chair, table or desk. Her bottom two teeth finally popped in! Now if the rest will hurry up and come in. :) She has started eating a few solids, she loves mashed potatoes, green beans and steamed carrots.
I love that Natalie is well aware of Eva. She notices when she is sad and crying, she will come over and check on her. She notices when she is happy, she will give her a kiss and hug her. I love that Eva giggles when Natalie is talking with her. What fun this ride has been being a mother. I sure do love it. What sweet blessings we have been given from Heavenly Father. At times, I think, WOW do I really deserve this?? Just simply amazing. Love, love, love being a wife, and a mommy to such sweet little miracles.
