Not again.......

Natalie used to throw her food back when she was about 13-15 months old. Well now she has started to do it again. Pretty much just at dinner time. We do make her pick it up and then throw it away. When she picks up the food, she tries to shovel in as much as she can into her mouth. When she was younger, we wouldn't let her have anything else to eat, and we would throw the food that she threw away. We do think that she does this for attention at the table. I am usually feeding Eva, Erich and I are talking and so maybe she feels left out. She always laughs after she throws the food too. We try really hard not to smile or even laughed when she does this. So this just a phase, or is this something else we should be doing so that she doesn't end up throwing her food. Any suggestions??

Well, I finally learned to only give my food-throwers one or two bites of food at a time until they could stop--it might seem like more work to keep serving but so much easier than picking up ruined food off the floor! Once the food ammo is gone they usually outgrow it right away!
