Can you believe it!! One year ago today, our sweet little Eva Janelle was born weighing only 2 lbs 7 ozs! What a joy she has truly been! She loves to cuddle and loves to babble. She has started pulling herself up, loves to crawl all over her big sis too. She is our hair puller.....OUCHY!! She is constantly pulling my hair. I love her beautiful blue eyes and her dark hair. I love that she crawls and sits up all by herself. I love that she holds onto my finger when I feed her a bottle. I love that she squeals of delight when I get her out of bed. I love that she is full of spunk. She has just begun to love it when I read her books. I love her sweet little giggle and her adorable little smile.
A year in a half ago, we weren't sure if we were going to have any more children. Every time, I think about her birth story, I get all teary eyed, Heavenly Father sent her to us. I remember when my resident doctor held her up for us to see her, she was truly a miracle. Then when I held her for the first time that day, I just couldn't believe it. I was actually holding a 2 lb baby. Our precious baby girl. Just after she was born she only needed C-PAP for a few days then moved to Nasal Cannula. Her road in the NICU was quite different than her big sis. I am so glad that she is here and she is ours to love. Eva definitely completes our family. She is truly a wonderful blessing to our family. We are so grateful for her sweet little spirit that she brings to our home.
