What a day...........

For the past week or so, Natalie has been waking up at 4 am due to coughing, I will go in and check on her. I will try and get her to fall back to sleep. But no such luck. She will just lay there, but really doesn't fall asleep. Today, she woke up at 5:15 am. I found her sitting in the hallway. She is usually a good girl. Today was not on of those days! Seriously...really tired! We all were! She kicked Eva twice, pushed her over, and threw a book at her. She was sent to sit in time out which she sat and waited for me to come and get her. Daddy came home for lunch. I broke down and cried, about how the day was going. I was thinking that maybe I did something wrong in the parenting department. We are both very consistent with Natalie. She has always been such a fun toddler but today not so much. By noon, I was so ready for her to take a nap. Since Eva took a nap this morning, I laid down with Natalie until she fell asleep. She slept for about 2 hours which made the rest of the day so much better because of her nap.

This afternoon, Eva cried a lot if she wasn't been held. So we would take turns holding her. I know that I will probably have more days like today, but hopefully the next time will be one that I will have more sleep the night before. When Natalie woke up, she was really happy and fun. We played all afternoon, and read books. I even took her with me to the grocery store while Daddy stayed home with Eva. What a fun time we had together. I love those moments when I can spend time with her.

Tonight, the girl's cousins came over for dinner, and cupcakes for Eva's birthday. What fun! Eva got 2 new wooden puzzles, and a new doll. Way cute! Natalie sure loves the doll too! :) The girls played house with Natalie in her room, they had a blast! Eva even crawled down the hallway to her room to see what all the girls were doing. What a fun night! Both girls were fast sleep! Thanks Girls for wearing them out.

I know that at the end of the day....I love those kisses, hugs, smiles and giggles from our sweet little girls.
