Natalie's pink blanket.............

Natalie has this soft pink blanket that has silky edges. She loves that blanket. She started chewing on the edges when she was a baby. I wash that blanket just about every other day. We've been told that we needed to break her from chewing on it. She chews on it to fall asleep, when she is sick and sometimes just because. We've only let her take it to the hospital, or when she goes to someone's house. When she was in the hospital last week, I had Erich take it home to wash it on Friday. But then we decided that we would see how she would do without it that night. Let's just say, this past week hasn't been very fun to not have her sleep with it anymore, but we DID it!! Today has been a week without it. This past week, she hasn't fallen asleep until 8 or so and then waking up REALLY early. Today was the first day that she hasn't talked about it either. YAY! Tonight was the first night this week that she has went to bed without one of us laying with her too. Now, I am just hoping that she will sleep in a little longer than 5 am! She still has a blanket just one that doesn't have a silky edge. She will sometimes put it in her mouth but it doesn't stay very long.
