Eye Appointments....

Last week, both girls had check ups at the eye doctor. Eva's left eye is still crossing and it has gotten worse. In August, it was 15 and now it is 25. So we have to patch her for 4 hours a day and she will also be getting glasses to help correct her crossing her eye. Natalie's eyes have gotten better since she has started wearing glasses. She still needs to wear them but so happy that they have improved. We would have ordered glasses from Children's Mercy but they don't accept our insurance. So I've been calling around to different places, I found an optical that takes our insurance and also has the neuro-flex glasses for toddlers. (The kind that bend and will not break!) So we will be getting those in a few weeks. If her eyes don't improve by her next appointment in February, then they want to do another surgery. Lets hope and pray that the glasses help.
