Merry Christmas!!

Friday December 23, 2011- was my mother in laws birthday! We all went over to their RV and celebrated with her on her special day. What fun we had! The girls sat next to her as she opened her gift that they had made for her. She loved it! Then we ate a yummy dinner, ate pie and cake. Our girls were exhausted so we headed home earlier than everyone else.

Saturday December 24, 2011- I made hash brown, egg, sausage casserole. YUMMMMMICOUS!! My family came over for brunch and dinner. The girls loved their gifts from Papa and Grandma So. We cooked ham, turkey, mashed potatoes, corn, green beans, stuffing, and of course pumpkin pie! My parents got Erich and I a food processor! I can't wait to use it. Christmas Eve was so much fun to spend with my family. We enjoyed having them over.

Sunday December 25, 2011- Merry Christmas! Natalie woke up during the night and joined me in bed. We were worried that Natalie would open the presents when she woke up. Hubby fell a sleep on the couch. Natalie and I woke up at 6:30 or so. The first thing she noticed was Daddy's shop vac that was sitting next to the presents. She, then noticed all the gifts. We got the girls a stroller, and a shopping cart. I let her play with those until Daddy and Eva woke up. Eva woke up around 7. She loves the shopping cart. As they opened their stockings, Eva kept playing with her cart. She really didn't want to open presents. As I helped her, she began to get interested. They each got new toothbrushes, hair brushes, a book, Wizard of Oz movie and a barbie movie, ABC cards, Number cards, and a watch.

Then they opened their gifts. They both got several things that they both got to open together. They sure loved that! I was able to get several Melissa and Doug educational toys on sale. They sure love the wooden pizza kit, the wooden ring stacker V-tech game and the ABC letter/word kit. Another favorite is the play dishes, counting cookies in a jar, ice cream color stack, and magnetic doll house book. They also got new princess pillows for their beds, clothes, jammies and 2 puzzles.

Hubby and I sure enjoyed watching our girls open their gifts. To see their expressions as they opened a gift that they would love=PRICELESS!

They played all morning together. It didn't matter whose toy it was. They loved playing together. After naps, they went right back to playing until dinner. They made it to 7pm. We tucked them into bed and they were fast a sleep.

What a wonderful Christmas! I am so grateful for being able to spend the entire day with our girls and with my sweet hubby. It was so nice to not have any plans.

We loved hearing Natalie, sing, "We wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!"
What a cutie!
