Easter

Easter morning, I dyed eggs with the girls! They loved it! Eva loved it so much she kept splashing the cup of colored dye. The Easter brought the girls baskets of plastic eggs filled with healthy snacks, books and puzzles. They were so HAPPY! Before church we stopped by the cemetery and left some pretty flowers for Leanne. Natalie insisted that she put the flowers in the vase. We were able to get some really cute pictures of us with the girls. We love you Leanne! We headed to church after visiting Leanne. The girls did a pretty good job sitting in sacrament meeting. So proud of them. Eva still cries when we leave her in the nursery, Thankfully, she doesn't cry the entire time she is there. Natalie loves sunbeams. She kept asking to see her Daddy. She would turn and look at me with a sad face, saying that she wanted her daddy. I went over to her, I gave her a hug and told her that Daddy was in class and that he would see her after church. That made her feel better. For my lesson, I brought in the the Easter story; The Resurrection. I put the story in 12 plastic eggs and placed them in order from numbers 1-12 in an egg carton. Each plastic egg contained an item that went along with the story/scripture. Like, a cracker (was what Jesus ate for his last supper before they beat him.) a nail (like what they used to nail him to the cross.), or a piece of white cloth (they wrapped Jesus in a white cloth, after he was hung on the cross.) The kids really enjoyed this activity. It was such a beautiful day out. We had the lesson outside and then I let them play under the trees. What a wonderful Easter!

For dinner, my family came over. My dad had cooked pork chops in the crock pot. Delicious! The girls sure enjoyed having family over for dinner. Happy Easter!
