Busy, busy Saturday!

                                                               Fishing fun with Daddy!

Grain Valley Parade! What a fun time!
Saturday September 8, 2012....was a VERY busy day for us! Daddy promised Natalie that he would take her fishing that morning. So we all got ready. I needed to run to the grocery store. We live near lake so I dropped Daddy and Natalie off at Lake Remembrance. Eva and I headed to Walmart. We picked up a few things and then as we were leaving Daddy called and said that Natalie was done fishing. Even though, she only lasted about 20 minutes. She loved every minute of it! She has her own fishing pole and Daddy taught her how to reel out the line. She attempted to try, so proud of her. We came changed clothes and headed the Grain Valley parade. What fun! Our girls have never had candy thrown at them during a parade. They were quite excited! Natalie really loved marching band and Eva loved the horses. We came home and ate lunch and the girls took naps. That afternoon, we went to Elsie's  2nd birthday party. Natalie and Eva sure had a great time. Then came home and changed into church dresses and barely had enough time to eat dinner and headed off to a very good friend Cassy's wedding reception. I usually don't take the girls to wedding receptions but I thought that since it was at her parent's house and she is a good friend of mine that it would be okay. The girls did wonderful. They loved meeting some of the other kids there. We didn't stay long but it was so nice to see Cassy and meet her husband. By the time we arrived home, the girls were TIRED! I bathed them and quickly put them off to bed. Gotta love busy days!
