We started the morning off at the Model Train Exhibit at Union Station. What fun! It was such a joy to hear the girls giggle with delight as the trains went by. Afterwards, we headed to Riverside Missouri. We had heard there was a kiddie train ride going on for .50 cents. We stopped off at the library so that I could look up the address to where the trains were. We were only 2 miles away! So we headed there. Natalie wanted me to ride with her and Eva and Daddy rode together. The girls loved it!! After the train ride, we grabbed lunch from our car and ate the the picnic tables that were near the train ride. After lunch, we went and rode the train again. Natalie insisted that she wanted to ride in the seat all by herself. Every time we went through the tunnel, Natalie would raise up her arms and scream with delight! Then as soon as we came out of the tunnel, she would hold on tight What a BLAST! It melted my heart to hear the giggles and see the smiles on their faces. Too cute!
Then we met up with my family, and headed to another kiddie train ride. (My Grandpa had his own train several years ago before he passed away). We were able to ride a train that was very similar to what my Grandpa had. What a fun time we had! Daddy loves trains and see the girls love them just as much as he does really means a lot to him.
