Teething or Sick???

Yesterday, Natalie went through 2 outfits with diarrhea, this morning she woke up at 4 am. I went and picked her up out of her bed, she was sweaty and her back was covered in diarrhea! I felt so bad for her. I cleaned her all up and made her a fresh bottle. I wrapped her all up in a tee-shirt and blanket. I snuggle with her on the couch, she drank her bottle and was fast asleep. Around 6 am. I went to move her and she threw up everywhere on me, my face and hair. Somehow she missed the couch, and the blanket. I took her into the bathroom, she loves baths. I bathe her, she was so happy. After the bath I took her temperature, it was 97. Before Daddy left, I showered too! Put in some laundry, changed her sheets in her bed. Daddy left for a training day at the department. Natalie played for a little bit, so far she has kept her food down since 6 am. She is napping again in her bed. I kept checking her temperature every hour. I'm just praying that she doesn't get a temperature or we will have to go to the ER. Because of the Shunt, when she runs a fever, that could mean an infection. So we have to watch her closely. Overall, she is doing pretty good. She smiles, talks and plays a little. I am sanitizing all of her toys and wiping down everything. I love being her mommy! She is such a good little baby! I really do think that she is teething. Her top 2 teeth have now officially popped through. I went online to check for symptoms of teething and well she has all of them but the fever part. I just glad that babies don't remember what it feels like to teethe, I think that teething has to be one of the hardest things us parents have to go through with our babies.
