Viral Diarrhea!

So last night, I went and got some pedialite for Natalie. She drank about 1 oz or so. Then I gave her milk, she ended up throwing up about 1-2 ozs. So I had to bathe her again. Then after her bath she drank the rest and fell asleep. I called the hospitals nurses line, about an hour later, a nurse called back. She mentioned that Viral Diarrhea was going around. I have never heard of this before. Because Natalie didn't have a fever, she said that we didn't have to come in. She mentioned that due to the shunt, if she gets a fever she will need to go to the ER. The nurse mentioned to only give Natalie Pedialite for 4-6 hours on Saturday, then give her rice cereal or baby food. If she doesn't have diarrhea then give her milk. Well I did all that and then after the milk she has diarrhea but it wasn't watery like yesterday. She has only had 2 diarrhea diapers today which is much better than yesterday! She mentioned that she could have viral diarrhea for a whole week! I have done so much laundry aready with how many outfits she has soiled since yesterday. Anyways...she still isn't running a fever and she is happy as can be.
