Weekend Update on Ladybug....

Saturday December 26, 2009 Natalie slept all day, she broke out with another fever that morning. They gave her some Ibuprofen, which helped to bring her fever down. She was really fussy today. Anytime anyone touched her, she would cry. I felt so bad for her. She was quite the cuddle bug and I held her alot that day. I enjoyed my snuggle time with her. The doctors ordered a chest x-ray, so that afternoon we took her to get that done. Luckily, her fever didn't come back that day. She was able to wing down to 2 liters of oxygen. YAY! Then on Sunday December 27, 2009 I woke up with a bad cough and a stuffy nose...ahhhh! Not so fun! Anyways, the doctors came in that morning to let me know the results of her chest x-ray, they side that her right lung looked cleared and her left lung had a small spot of pneumonia. They said that it isn't uncommon for pneumonia to show up 5 days later. They are going to treat her with antibiotics for the next 7 days, that doesn't mean we will be here for 7 more days, the meds should clear up her pneumonia in about 72 hours or so. They got her blood culture back, the results were that she has brochichitis, along with a virus in her lungs and pneumonia! No wonder why she has been so sick! She had a pretty good day. Her and I snuggled. She slept alot during the day, she had a hard time falling sleep in the evening. Daddy came to visit for a while that night, he even fell asleep while rocking her. I was so tired and I didn't feel good. I went to sleep too! Erich woke me up later to tell me he was going head home. It was so nice to have him here for a few hours, so that I didn't have to worry or wake up with Natalie. Thank you Erich for coming to visit! We sure do miss you! Love you bunches!
