Updates.....

Hubby started working back in the YOU (Youth Outreach Unit) at the high school for the Police department. He enjoyed his summer schedule working on the road. He's had a couple of busy days over the past few weeks. Since moving into our new house, every Saturday he has been working in the garage on projects that needed to get done. Last Saturday, he hung some shelves in the girls room. They look really nice too. He was able to change the oil on the van and the his motorcycle. He also put new breaks on the van.

Natalie has started helping to set the table for dinner, and she even rinses the dishes so that all be have to do is put them in the dishwasher. She continues to talk and talk. Everyday she is saying new words, at times, we will often hear her say part of a conversation that she has heard us say. She loves being a little mommy to her dolls. I love catching her reading a book to her sister. She loves Amelia Bedelia books. She will sit on my lap while I read her a 4 chapter Amelia Bedelia book. She has become very interested in the potty. She loves to sit on the toilet and she is totally content with sitting there for several minutes. She hasn't went potty in it yet. But we will get there soon enough. She has finally learned how to open the refrigerator, one morning, I walked in the kitchen with her standing at the table with a carton of eggs, and she cracked one open as it landed on the floor. She immediately took off running when I caught her. Silly girl!

Eva, Eva, Eva sure keeps us busy by constantly getting into EVERYTHING! I thought Natalie was the one who got into everything. Boy, was I wrong. Eva doesn't need any help when it comes to making messes. Her messes are bigger because she tends to tear everything up. Eva continues to say new words. Her newest words are, Evba (for Eva), bed, she even said Marcus today (for Uncle Marcus). She is constantly pointing to things and will say, "This". I love that she loves playing with her Big sis. She is always following her around the house. She gets really excited when Daddy comes home from work. She loves when we sing songs together. She has started to climb and is really quite well at it. I will catch her climbing in the rocking chair, couch, on our bed or even on Natalie's bed. She loves to climb! She loves when we read her books too. Although, she loves her favorites. Especially books that have a ball in them. She has become a cuddle bug lately. I love that she is beginning to cuddle with us again. So sweet!

Mommy...well I am great! I love our new place. I love having an attached garage, a HUGE backyard. I love our BIG eat-in kitchen. I love that the girls are sharing a room, and they have adjusted so well. I've enjoyed decorating our new place. I think that I have finally decorated our place to fit both our personalities. I enjoy working with Natalie, teaching her preschool readiness skills. I also enjoy teaching Eva new things; animals/animal sounds, body parts, (so far she knows toes and nose). I've even had a few nights when I have been able to sit down and scrapbook for a few hours before going to bed.
