We heart Grain Valley!
Last week we moved to Grain Valley. (Its about a 10 minutes East of Blue Springs). We are renting a 2 bedroom ranch style duplex. We spent several hours last Monday moving stuff from our old place to our new place. We are so grateful for my Dad, and three of our friends from Erich work/church that helped. We were able to get pretty much everything inside our old place moved over that night. A HUGE Thank You to my Mom, Sister Trina and Brother Marcus for taking the girls to dinner and to the mall. What fun they had. After moving in, we realized there were several damages to our new place that needed to be repaired. Once those things were repaired, we were much happier. :) Monday night I was able unpack the entire kitchen! WOOOOWEEE! Then on Tuesday, I babysit for a friend, so I had three girls all day. I was able to unpack the girls room. They sure loved all the toys that had been packed for a few weeks. Tuesday night, my parents came back over to watch the girls while Erich and I, Dad and Marcus went back over to finish cleaning and shampoo the carpet. We were finally finished!! YAY! All we had left to do was the garage on Wednesday. Throughout the week, Natalie would ask if we were going home. I would explain to her that we are home, its our new house. I had all the unpacking done by Saturday. I started hanging up the decorations. Our place started feeling like our home with all the home decorations. The girls love it too! We especially love the eat in kitchen!! We've always had the kitchen table in the living room. So its nice to have them separate. The girls are sharing a room, the first few nights they did so good sleeping in the same room. Then the next few nights, the woke each other up. Tonight, they both were so tired they went to bed at the same time. We also love having a HUGE backyard. The girls sure love running around in the grass playing. Natalie loves that the garage door goes up and down. Eva sure enjoys running away from us. Erich and I are so blessed that we were able to find a place where we could move that was within our budget. We will definitely be able to save money for us to buy a house someday.
