Hospital stay.....

Late Thursday night April 1, 2010, I started having several contractions, I thought no big deal. By Friday April 2nd at 12:45 am they were so quick and fast. I knew that I needed to get to the hospital. I called Erich at work, he finished up a call, and was able to get home. My mom and younger brother came over to stay with Natalie. By time we left for the hospital it was 2:30 am. My contractions were just seconds apart!! We arrived at the hospital, I was dilated at a 2! So they were able to give me some magnesium sulfate to stop the labor. In the 24 hours that I was on the magnesium, they were able to give me to doses of steroids, to help Eva lungs develop in case she was born early. Being on Magnesium wasn't fun. I was very irritable, uncomfortable, and my eyes were acting all weird. They ended up taking me off the meds Saturday morning instead of waiting until Sunday morning. The contractions slowed down a lot on Saturday, I spent the day resting and sleeping a lot. The doctors told us that there was a 50/50 chance that Eva would be born within the next 7-10 days.
