What a fun day...............

Yesterday, my parents came over to watch Natalie for us so that we could go and spend time with Eva. Erich and I went down to St. Luke's at 3pm. They started her on Nasal cannula for 3 hours, so I held her for the first hour, Eva did really well. Her stats were 99-100 the whole time. Brandi, Natalie's (soon to be Eva's) Physical therapist came to meet Eva, and Aunt Allison came too. It was so fun! After I held her Daddy was able to hold Eva too. We sat and talk with Aunt Allison, we had a wonderful time laughing and talking! Nurse Tracy came in to draw a blood gas while Daddy was holding her. Eva didn't even cry! She sure loved and enjoyed snuggling with her parents today. After we both held her, Daddy and Nurse Tracy put her back in her isolette. She cried for a few minutes but soon calmed down. As Daddy was changing her diaper, she poo'ed, and poo'ed. It was everywhere! Even on the new diaper! Within minutes, she was wearing a fresh new diaper and was resting comfortably in her little isolette. Once we got home, we were both so happy to have spent a few hours with our little Jellybean! What fun we had today! Natalie was ready to go to bed by the time we arrived home, I quickly bathed her, gave her a albuterol treatment and she was fast asleep.
