Natalie sleeping her room!

I just want to say that it has been really hard for me to have Natalie in a different room. She has slept in her room like 3 times since we brought her home from the hospital. Those times were only for naps. On Saturday, I was watching Nanny 911 and there was this family who had 2 boys, 6 and 3 years old. The 6 year old had slept with his mom in her bed since he was a baby and now the 3 year old does it too. These boys were awful! I mean really really awful. They threw tantrums, hit, kicked and bit their parents. At night, they would throw tantrums if they didn't get to sleep with their mom. Oh yeah, Dad slept in a different room too! CRAZY! I don't want the transition for Natalie to be rough. I can still rock her, cuddle her before bed, I just needed the reassurance that she is going to be okay sleeping in her own room. So today for naptime, I rocked her and then I put her in her crib in her room. She ended up sleeping 1 1/2 hours. She hasn't taken that long of a nap since June. GUESS WHAT....she is even sleeping in her room right now for bedtime too! She has been sleeping since 7:30 pm and I have only checked on her once. I do have a baby monitor right next to me so that I can hear her. Yes...it is hard for me but I know that I need to do this, she is almost 10 months old and if I don't get her in a rountine of sleeping by herself in her room, it will just make it harder later. She is our little miracle and I am so grateful for her. I can't believe that in just 2 months this Friday she will be 1 years old. I was told that it goes by fast but I'm not ready for her to grow up!
